The Last Survivor of Titanic Died on 31 May 2009

Millvina Dean, the last survivor of the sinking of RMS Titanic that happened on 15 April 1912, died on 31 May 2009 at aged 97. At the 9 weeks of age, she was the youngest passenger onboard.

When I was watching the evening news as usual last night, the reporter suddenly changed the subject to a breaking news saying the there was a flight from Air France was being vanished on the radar suddenly 3.5 hours later after take off. The news released that there were 216 passengers plus 12 crew onboard, flew from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, when crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the control tower received an automatic signal from the cockpit indicated that the plane was experienced for severe air turbulence during the storm and then lost contact and vanished on the radar.

I think the percentage of finding survivors is pretty low. It was really bad and sad. It is because it was not a crash according to the news, it happened just because it met the severe turbulence which may be caused to technical problem, that the flight may not be able to have thrust to fly again. This may lead to this tragedy occur. Really hope that their families and friends would be stay stronger and feel really sorry about their loss.

Air transports play a very important role in today's world, it can let the people travel from point A to point B in a relatively shorter time that no other transports can replace it. However whether you are a frequent flyer or first time traveler, you would never miss the chance of experiencing of air turbulence, the question is whether it is a mild, moderate or severe turbulence.

You know whenever my flight was being encountered the severe turbulence or passing through the storm, I'm not only can feel the aircraft shaking but also can hear the terrible sounds from outside, seems like those engines are fighting with the soaring turbulence. I used to think what if 'touch wood', something happen to my flight, what should I do? How the situation would be like before completely vanish in this world in just a few seconds? Am I going to be a survivor if have luck, what happen to my loved ones, how do they live without me or what are they gonna be if losing me even though I have bought the insurance, would it be enough for them. All these questions are spinning in my head that really makes me horrify.

Life is too fragile, we cannot control the time we die or how we die, just like we cannot control the time we born, everything has already been arranged since we born. This is fate, is destiny. No one can overpower it. All we can do is how do make the use of our everyday, be good, be happy without any regrets and wait for the day to come.

My sweetie's very 1st notebook

A Vtech Nitro Notebook just arrived this evening. It's very cool, got 80 activities in it for kids to learn and play, my little one just cannot put her hands off of it although she is too young for that. At least she has her own computer to play with instead of mine. ^.^

My Little Angel

Time runs so fast, my lovely little angel you are 15 months old now. Happy Day!! Remembered the day I was in the delivery room waiting for you to come out of my tummy, the pain plus the tiredness and exhaustion due to didn't sleep for the entire night, all those feelings were never easy to described to anyone. However when the very first time I saw you and held you in my arms, though felt a bit strange at first, thinking this is my own baby, she's the one living inside my tummy for 10 months and now there she is in front of me, that exciting feelings I would never never forget in my life.

You know my lovely daughter, I am so proud of myself that I gave birth to you, to have you as my daughter, that is always what I want. Whenever I look at you, I see my mini me in you, all the things you do were the things I did, all the words you say were the words I said when I was in your age. I see you as I see myself of how I grew up in every stage of life. I'm grateful that I have you in my life.

Your life just started to begin, I wish that you'll be stay happy and healthy for your life, may you have the courage to explore and challenge, have the wisdom to make decisions and judgements and enjoy every moment of your life!!

How many people have had sought a Fortune Teller before? I think many of you have done that including me myself too. As I remembered the very first time I did was during High School period, you know when girls gather together, they are always love to gossip and full of imagination about their future, love lives; careers; financial situation things like that, due to curiosity we went for a fortune teller were just for fun at that time.

However as time goes by, when everything in our lives seems going smooth with stable life stable income, good health and actually nothing much have to worry of, then suddenly under certain circumstances, for example like the global economics crisis now, our lives would be affected by those external factors that surrounding us, become having doubts, feeling lost and insecure, feeling uncertainty, hopeless and helpless due to cannot see a clear picture of the future, don't know what to do at this moment in order to get everything back on track just like the old days. Then a click comes in to the head in a flash of light, think of seeking help from a Fortune Teller again, but this time is not for funs anymore but for serious or big issues.

There is an old Chinese sayings,' never tell your birth time to the fortune teller, if they know what's good in your life, they'll have the power to take them away for you'. Do they really have that power? I really wouldn't know in that case.

However, one thing for sure, seeking advices from Fortune Tellers, no matter it is in Chinese style by hand readings or in Western Style by Tarot cards, are very common nowadays. The question is can they really predict someone's future base on brief information by giving them the date of birth or time of birth, by reading those lines on the palm or need to be extremely concentrated on thinking the matters that you want to know?

I am not criticized for their professionalism, abilities or their accuracy of predictions. For sure, sometimes what they have said seems so right to us that we might not be able to deny.

In my point of view, fortune teller is a soul healer, people who are seeking for their help just try to find a peaceful mind to clear their heads out in order to think what should they do in their next step.

Finally touch, we only have one life, how we live our life is all controlled and decided by ourselves, maybe we are now in our down moment, no matter come what may in the future, we still keep our faith in mind, believe in ourselves are brave enough to overcome all those difficulties, I do believe that our future is a bright future because we have trust in ourselves.
